The fall 2025 issue focuses on the alien: on extraterrestrial life, but equally on the other, and how we relate to it. What forms does that alien life take in our cultural expressions? How does our cultural imagination play with our fascination with the other, the unattainable? We travel from the cosmic to the cellular level, only to be constantly thrown back by both hubris and gravity. Can the strange, the extraterrestrial, teach us to look in the mirror or at each other with new eyes?
